So I decided that it was time to give you a little update on what is new at Rod Works! And if you have been in lately you might have a good guess….Burlap! It’s every where and the possibilities of this awesome fabric are endless. We have a bunch of new prints and sayings all on the fabulous fabric of Burlap. What is it about burlap that makes it so interesting?  That’s just it….it’s interesting!! It has an amazing texture to it so whatever you put on it will just make it that much more interesting. Also it has many different styles it can work with.

Just look at those tulip and daisy prints….no seriously look!! They are burlap!! They have the coolest texture and look so vintage. Plus you can see how it works so many different looks. We’ve got shiny ceramic pieces on the left and some pops of color with the clock and flowers and a special touch here and there with a candle and greenery. What’s nice about these prints is you could put so many different colors with them.

There’s some closeups for you so you can see all the cool details on the burlap prints. And we just added a simple cast iron scroll to the top of the print to give it a fancy look.  There are two different styles of the white tulip print and two of the red tulip print.

I wanted to give you another idea by layering these cool prints on top of some decorative iron wall decor. It just gives it a totally different look. And since these prints are on a thicker frame you really get some good layering and dimensions going on.

The red tulip print is awesome! The color is so bold and fresh. And next to that is one of the many signs that are printed on burlap. You can see how the edges are chippy and old looking so you can see more of the awesome burlap below.  

 One of my favorite burlap signs that just came in is this one! It is on a thick black wood frame and you get to see lots of the burlap below the printing. Plus I just love the saying! I think everyone could use this little reminder to just enjoy yourself from time to time. I’ve definitely enjoyed sharing all these cool decorating ideas using burlap with you!
